Mrs. Eileen Young, 67, of 1012 E. Pike St., died Tuesday evening in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. Mrs. Young was educated in the Terre Haute school system. Born Oct. 5, 1909, at Eugene, she was a daughter of Harry and Bessie Meeker Sturm. She first married Clarence Hultz, who is deceased. She then married James Davidson, also deceased. In 1964, she married Walter “Dick” Young, who survives. Also surviving are a son, David Hultz of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Phyllis) Kern of Indianapolis; two brothers, Ernest and Donald Sturm of Terre Haute; five sisters, Mrs. Eva Goda, Mrs. Harrietta Cassidy, Mrs. Maxine Flynn, Mrs. Evelyn Wolverton and Mrs. Betty Harrison, all of Terre Haute; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A sister and two brothers are deceased. Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday in Powers Funeral Home at Crawfordsville. Burial will be in Crawfordsville Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday. – jlr
